DISCONTINUOUS CLONING: HUMANS, LANDSCAPES & TYPOLOGIES
In the pursuit of innovative spatial strategies, this project splices together several strands of research and analysis: the autonomous spatial tactics of Louis Kahn (poche, non-directional space, servant/served space), and the agencies of constructed narratives (Duncan Jones’ 2009 film, Moon).
After constructing catalogs of Kahn’s tactics and their parameters, these strategies were used to extend and radicalize the themes presented in the film, including the notion of cloning and identity and the extreme applications of technology in extreme, non-earth environments.

Process & "Proto-Documents"
The proto-documents are the initial brainstorming session for the project’s spatial agenda. Embedded in this drawing are quick and intuitive intersections of program, elements from the spatial catalog and influences of the narrative and its actors.
